The Education Fume Cabinet (EDU) Chemcap ductless fume cabinets are designed to protect from hazards such as fumes, vapours and flying glass. Teachers and educators in schools, colleges and university laboratories can be confident they are working in a safe environment. EDU Chemcap fume cabinets (ductless, recirculatory filtration) are ideal for use in education, for example for teaching practical chemistry when teacher and students need an excellent view into the cabinet to observe experiments. Furthermore, the cabinet is supplied on castors giving the flexibility to be moved around.
CARBON FILTRATION: The use of Chemcap™ carbon filtration (type MP) makes it perfect for a mixed use laboratory and removes a very wide variety of fumes and vapours. You can find out which chemicals are retained by Chemcap carbon filtration by contacting us or downloading a chemical retention listing. With the cabinet running (providing protection) the demonstrator has access into the cabinet through a trapezium shaped front access. Full access into the acrylic enclosure can be gained by raising the double hinged front doors for loading, setting up and for clearing away afterwards. The base tray is supplied in black PVC which is excellent for highlighting liquid and powder spills. Two services ports, each with a cover, are provided in the rear panel and are typically used for power cable access.
Ductless fume cabinet with a sliding sash available in three widths, 1.0m, 1.5m and 2.0 metres, similar in style to a ducted fume cupboard. Chemcap Easyglide cabinet, is designed to meet key industry standards and provide the user with the highest level of user protection. The ductless Chemcap Easyglide fume cabinets incorporate an efficient and quiet fan which draws air past the operator and up through the cabinet efficiently removing potential hazards in the Chemcap carbon filter and/or HEPA particulate filtration and returning clean air back to the laboratory.
Operator Protection: Chemcap Fume Cabinets protect the operator from fumes, aerosols and/or particulates whilst undertaking laboratory procedures.
Comfort and Convenience: Chemcap cabinets offer clear vision of the cabinet interior, simple touch button controls incorporating an audible low airflow alarm and service due indicator. The Easyglide sash is ideal for applications that require frequent access into the cabinet, only one hand is needed to open and close the cabinet.
Standards : Chemcap Easyglide Ductless Cabinets conform to the requirements of all major Standards for containment and filtration.
Ductless fume cabinet and enclosures with back-up filter system. Bigneat’s Chemcap Pro2 range is similar in many ways to the Chemcap Clearview models however a back-up filter is incorporated into filter housing to provide extra protection. Pro2 ductless fume hoods include double Chemcap carbon and/or HEPA particulate filtration. A range of three standard cabinet sizes with touch button controls and audible low airflow alarm. The work surface is black which highlights spillages. This cabinet has a trapezium front access as standard with double hinged flaps for easy access to cabinet interior. Two service ports with covers are supplied in the side panels.
Operator Protection: Double filtration protection, double safe. Chemcap Pro2 is designed for using with the most toxic fumes, vapours and particulates. This cabinet incorporates a back up filter. In the event of breakthrough of fumes, which happens following the saturation of the lower filter, they will be caught in the back-up filter. The filter housing incorporates an inter-filter sampling port.
Comfort and Convenience: Pro2 cabinets offer clearview all-round vision and are fully portable. Cabinet includes lighting and trapezium front access as standard with double hinged and lockable front door flaps for easy access to cabinet interior.
Double filtration protection, double safe: The Chemcap Pro2 is designed for use with the most toxic fumes, vapours and particulates. This cabinet incorporates a back up filter. When the lower filter reaches saturation point, any fumes breaking through are retained by the upper back-up filter. To facilitate periodic testing of the inter-filter gases, the filter housing contains a integral sampling chamber
Bigneat manufactures and installs Clean Air Enclosure LAOP enclosures for protection of the operator from moving automated equipment and potentially hazardous fumes and particulates released from the enclosed process. LAOP’s high performance airflow system draws air through the HEPA and/or Chemcap carbon filtration system mounted in the roof of the enclosure. The enclosure is maintained at a slightly negative pressure with air entering the enclosure through slots at low level (>0.4m/s) and this protects the operators from aerosols and/or vapours such as solvents and DMSO released from the process.
Used air is exhausted via outlet/exhaust filters back to the laboratory. Access to the enclosure interior during operation can be gained through full height sliding or hinged doors allowing for access to the robotics system inside the enclosure during use, loading and maintenance. A control panel provides audible and visual alarm indication of low airflow. Interlocking upper and lower main access doors are locked down with ‘T’ handles during operation. This enclosure’s air flow is 100% pass through system, air in and air out.
Ductless Fume Cabinet. A range of six widths and an educational version. When you want a ductless fume cabinet or hood to contain and remove hazardous fumes, vapours, gases and/or particulates in your laboratory turn to Chemcap Clearview.
Ductless Fume Cabinet and hoods: An economical solution for containing chemical fume hazards; a recirculatory Chemcap carbon filtration fume hood, may be supplied with a support bench, or placed directly onto the laboratory bench. Once a laboratory is built it can be difficult to install new fume cupboards, the disruptive work of installation of ducting along with the capital cost of the equipment required and the planning consent needed, is sometimes prohibitively expensive and always time consuming.
Chemcap hoods are ductless with recirculatory filtration, they incorporate efficient ‘Chemcap’ carbon filters for fume removal and HEPA filters for particulates. They work by purifying air drawn through the filters and returning it thoroughly cleaned back to the room. Ductless fume cabinets provide additional safe ventilated space when you are running out of fume cupboard space.
This Chemical Dispensing Station is derived from Bigneat’s world renowned Chemcap Clearview Ductless Fume Cabinet. Chemcap ductless fume cabinets operate with finely controlled air flow and are built and operate to recognised worldwide.
